97 E320 Cluster, how to pull it??????
210 CLUSTER
Quick question for any techs out there who have probably pulled out a cluster on a 210 one time or another to change burnt bulbs....how do u do it??? i have the hook tool, i just cant seem to get it out, one side pops, but the other side just doesnt seem to wanna come out....has anyone experienced this before??? i managed to pull out my E55 's cluster without a problem...but this thing is giving me a hardtime....anyone...helpp !!!!CLUSTER 210 Body

Its Easy with the MB Combi Hooks...Insert them at 3 and 9 oclock and TWist them to catch the tabs..then pull ...slooooooooooooow
Mabe a pull on the left then the right to walk it out...
Also Remove the Under dash to Push from the back side of the combi..that helps when its stuck

MB Multi Removal Tool
I know that certian things (instrument clusters, radios, and Climate Controls) need a special removal tool. Can anyone tell me where to get one of these and is there one that can do all ?

I bought the tool from dealer too, but didn't work out. Saw SteveNL does it with bare hand, and try to follow: cluster came out like a charm.
Just try to grep the bottom w/ your hand, pull it a bit, just up/down left/right put it slowly, and it'll come out.
