Have anyone tried it yet ? Look quite interesting, price is a bit stiff ($300). I just wonder it it trigger lamp failure msg (brake & tail light are so sensitive, easily trigger error msg).
If price go down a bit, I'll probably get one, and just take the internal LED and fit them into the extra set of tailight I have.

Are you guys sure it is even for a W210? The curvature on the outside edge looks different and the clear part doesn't look as nice (cheap in fact) as the OEM ones - being a whole piece vs just a patch inside the red.
If I had the time to bother with it, I'd just get LED bulbs/clusters, stick them into the OEM lights and hook up a resistor to stop the light out warnings.....much cheaper that way, no?

I spent about $100 all together to try out different LED, board, resistor, truck tail lamp. The result was okey, but still not worthy for me to replace the OEM red & clear tail light I have. I had an extra set of tail light to try it on (bought it somewhere back then for $20 !!)
So I guess if all depend. Since the tail light need to be chopped in the back to fit all of the LED stuffs, so if thing don't work out well, we can't put back the old reflector and reuse the light in its stock form. (so cost might be more than $300 here). The LED components are kinda pricey, and there're so many type of them out there.
I think if I keep looking at the lights 16 more times, I might end up buying it
The light look similar to one in the BMW 3 series: red and real-clear top.

Hey Zam...
I say the LED insert for the red you have looks pimp. Have you located an amber insert for the turn signal. I'd be happy enough to at least convert my turn signal to an nice amber LED setup. I bet others share this opinion.

Coming from a 540i i dont like those LED tails at all. They almost remind me of the e36 style LED's which are ugly in my mind. What they need to make is the 5 Series Bar Type LEDs that can now be seen on the New 3 series. If they can make the Bar Style LED's i would buy them in a heart beat.
