Anyone have a exrta light bulb???
I was talking about this awhile ago, and i lost the guys email address who i was going to buy from...I am looking for a phillips light bulb to go in my HID system on my 97 E420.
Anyone? I attached a picture for you can see what it looks like.

That is a D2R bulb for reflector style headlights. HID bulbs retail for over $300. What price is your dealer trying to rob you for?

Your are right. The bulb in the pic is a Xenon HID - the model number or type of HID bulb is D2R.
There is two types of HID bulbs. The other is called D2S - for projector headlight systems.
Before you buy a new bulb try the other good bulb in the other burn out socket and the bad bulb in the good socket. HID bulbs are said to last the life of the car and only short out when water gets in.
