Can't open CD Changer??

I am confused on exactly what you are trying to open. To my knowledge the systems are the same, I own a 01 E320, and have had several loaners prior to buying this car, all CD systems operated in the same manner.
btw..does anyone know if there is a single CD drive for the E class in lieu of going to your truck each time you want to hear a specific CD?

I got it.
The dealer handed me a blank cartridge so I assumed it was the one from the trunk, however there was one already in the changer. I couldn't slide (open) the changer because the empty cartridge was ejected inside. So the door was stuck or jammed closed. With some force I was able to open it.
