E430 4Matic realworld gas mileage??
EPA lists E430 gas mileage @ 17/23 MPG. 23 for highway is really low.. is this what everyone is getting?? at what rpm does the engine rev when cruising at 80mph, 4000rpm??? what do you get for combined MPG?

I was concerned when I bought my E430 about mileage too!
I keep an accurate accounting of my mileage and I get 10km per liter.
You can do the math 38km/gal /1.6 km/ mile equals 24 mpg.
80 mph is probably 2500 rpm

2001 E-430 4-Matic
There's a thread you can read on E430 vs E320 gas consumption. Over 40k+ miles I averaged 19.0 mpg, and get up to 23.5 mpg cruising on the highway. I have a 2001 E430 4Matic. Two thoughts on mileage: make sure the tire pressure is not low, and also make sure you are using the correct synthetic motor oil.
