Real Annoying Lighting Problem
Recently, my climate control backlighting stopped working at night. The LCD readout still works but at night, when i turn on the lights, the climate control doesnt light up. I was tapping the side of the console and it would turn on, and now it doesnt happen anymore. I know this might be a stupid question, but I have never had a problem like this. Anyone have any ideas? I appreciate it. Thanks.

The bulb in the rear of the climate control unit is burned out.
You'll need the pull-keys to remove the unit and swap out the bulb with a new one. Try indie repair shop, even an electronics install place, to pull the unit.
$3 repair tops.
