don't waste the time. if you have the money and a donor E300, then it might be feasible... Otherwise it's a different world, diesel and gas.... Everything under the hood would have to change, wiring harness, computers. And don't forget the rear end ratio. Don't rememebr if they are different between the diesel and gas versions.

You want a diesel? sell your gas powered unit and buy an oil burner. It would be a bargain at twice the price -- but in the end will be cheaper ( and far less stressful)
