Gear Shift Emblem Reattachment

Hi guys,

This is my first time here, because I am looking for some interested advice on a problem that my w210 is having:

The gearshifter's emblem has detached itself, and it appears that it can be reattached with a simple adhesive. Has anybody experienced this and with good reattachment results with a certain product? I'm a little unsure of what adhesive to use.

Thanks!

cindie

Greetings cindie, welcome to the board..

I had problems with my emblem coming out, just used 3m adhesive tape , and it'll look brand new..or next best thing, change the whole gear knob!

The I6 means you've got an inline 6 i gather?

I was about to try a glue of some sort, I'll try the tape though.

Thanks for the suggestion!

And yes, I've got the inline sixer!
