ok. Just got the MIKbox. Of course, to install it, the instructions read, "remove the left panel in the trunk". I do not want to break any of those neat little plastic fasteners in the liner. So, how do I get the liner out w/out breaking everything.

Oh I can rip out w/the best of 'em, but I want to do this w/surgical precision. Any thoughts???? thx.

Most of the little plastic fastners are 2 piece. If you first pry out the inner plug, the outer will then be easier to pry out.

got it done by an installer. works great. everyone should have this feature in their car.

Doesn't support my Blackberry or my wife's PPC. I am sure that I am not the only one patiently awaiting Blackberry and PPC support.

It's for an integrated phone system. The M-B phone system installed "at the factory" only allow you to use their phones. The MIKbox lets you use any of several phones from a list on their website www.mikbox.com

It's a great device if you buy a used MB w/an integrated phone, but there's no phone w/the car or if you just want to be able to use another phone/phone service other than the one that came w/the car.
