Floor Mats

Okay, Finally got my silver 97 e320 yesterday. The first thing I did was look for rust and unfortunately found some under the sensor on the trunk lid. (bubbled paint about the size of a quarter). On a good note, the car has the factory Xenons and the interior is perfect. I really want to keep the interior in good shape but it doesn't have floor mats. Where can I get floor mats that are not $100. I have the dark charcoal interior I think because it's not exactly black and want something that matches. Does anyone know of any quality aftermarket floormats or where I might find the factory ones at a reasonable price. Also if someone could make sure from this pic if the interior is charcoal, grey, or black. It looks charcoal to me, but I haven't seen the other colors so I'm not certain.

sorry for the blurry image, but it's too cold to go back out and take another...

check Ebay or some of the board advertisers. $100 isn't bad because they last for years.

You can cut floor mats to fit from cheap vinyl truck mats. The issue with most non-OEM mats is that they slip around. You can get the OEM mat clips from a dealer for a couple of bucks each.

I got some cheap clear ones at walmart for $12. Now I can enjoy my palamino colored matts.

Try http://www.exactmats.com/products.html. They ship directly to the dealers. They are great protection for existing floor mats.

I bought a set on ebay brand new w/ MB logos for about $60 which included shipping. Then bought some $10 clear mats from Wal-mart to protect these.

j944,

I bought the exactmat at a local dealer. They are an exact fit over the floormats. Apparently they are laser cut to be an exact fit. Also, they come with a clip to further ensure that the clear mat does not slide. Be careful laying the clear mat over your MB mats. The spikes at the bottom are long and sharp. There will be no sliding and exposure of the original floor mats. I paid $80 for a full set of four.
