I have a E270 CDI 2001
Was driving it today and suddenly a warning notice showed up "el. power control EPC visit workshop" . Tha car continued to run, but gears shifted not like usually, or i just felt it was different, anyway when i stopped the car was kind of shaking and the rpm indicator was not standing still like usually but also shaking.
Then i turned the car off and after sometime on, and everything was ok for a little while, after i drove for 2 minutes, the warning showed up again.
Can anyone plz tell me what might be the reason for that.

Solved this problem.

There was a problem with one of the wires.

what wire? where? what was the problem? did you ever find out what EPC was?

 

could you tell us briefly , cause i really need these info to fix my customer 's car ,
his car is sick like your problem .I was notice that when i kick down the pedal the warning come out,my fren(technicien) tell me it was the intake manifold broken or leak , but i not dare to change it , cause of the cost.thanks for your info if you like to tell me your succeed...

 

Ok, i can not remember waht exactly was it, but i know that some wire was pinched, mechanic told me it was done during chip tuning installation
