Went to test some new cars because my 01 ML320 is going back to chase where it will get actuioned off for 4K lesss than te buy out! Loved it never had any problem in 50K miles.
Drove the new ML, and C and E classes but new job is 80 RT per day. The sales guy said to check out a rctly traded in E320...one of my favorite styles ever.
101K Miles all service records, orginally a CA car with rust proofing..Owned buy old couple I actually met. Don't think it ever had anyone sit in the back seat. Cheked by mt MB/Volvo indie and said wads the best he ever saw.
Blue with Grey/CD/Phone/Roof/ ....not sure about ASR yet...No rust ding scratches.
Saved 10's of 1000s...Love the car almost as much as my wife liked the price!
Anyway I can covert the phone wiring to a 12V back seat outlet! Kids.

Welcome to the fold. I've got a '97 E320 with 67K and love it. It's bone stock and is like the energizer bunny (do I have to say it?).

Love mine too. 134k and counting. A few problems here and there but nothing outragous. Still looks like new, very close anyway. You will have to learn how to replace power window mech.

And, for $10.5k, what a deal!

The 3.2L Inline 6 was used in the S-Class until 1999. The E-Class got the 5 speed transmission in the 97 and then the V6 in 98. The S-Class was then redesigned for 2000 so they went with the new engines then.
