projector question?
sorry... no no uhmmm…
i’m thinking something else must be wrong… if you’re thinking the lid doesn’t close unless you carve some grooves in the plastic for the rod…
come-on now… maybe this is just me...
but you think it may have been designed that way..?? to require you to cut grooves… NO
next... your question... do you need these rods or can i take them off? WHAT
with-out knowing for sure… of what exactly you speak of… i’m just thinking now... but could they be there for a reason..?? YES
and as Raymond said… we need pictures or MFG. info… yep yep..!!

That's just the lock that the manufacture put in so that when they ship, the internal won't move or crack. Simply remove it.
flip it backward, twist a little, and unhook it. You will have to do that before you can install bulb and put the back cover in anyway.

I checked out their website; for the E-Class series it only shows the W211 chassis; how do I determine what wheel actually fits the W210 chassis... or did you go to the 14mm lug bolts?
Thanks!
From the looks of your car, we have similar tastes.....
