Question 99 E320 Fog Lamps

I have what appears to be a broken/cracked right fog lamp (the small one under the bumper), but the light is still functioning . Is there a lens that covers the lamp that can break separately from the lamp ? If so can anyone tell me a cheap place to get one and how to replace it? If not, and the lamp is one piece, same questions - where is a cheap place to get a replacement and how do you replace it (preferably without jacking up the car or using a lift) ? Thanx for all help and info .

The lens can be ordered separately and it's easy to replace.

you can order on ebay or OEM/parts dealer. you do need to remove the
lamp housing. fortunately this is quite easy to accomplish for your model
year. remove lamp, replace lens and reattach lamp takes ohh, about 10-15
mins total. jacking up not needed, though it does make it easier for your
forearms to enter the access hatch beneath bumper. you cal also drive up
and prop one side atop curb and the other side down on the street.
