New guy here
First of all, let me say what an awesome site this is :headbang:.
My wife and I recently bought ourselves a used 1997 E420 Sport with 52,000 miles on it. It is immaculate..has all the options plus the rear windows were already tinted. Silver, with the AMG Monoblock wheels offered...heard in 98 Mercedes stopped using AMG wheels for the E430 Sport?
In any case, I am also a member of www.westcoastfords.com and I do own a 1999 Mustang GT silver...but I've always liked Mercedes, just couldn't afford one until now. So now we have 2 V8 engines sitting in the garage!
I've learned quite a bit by reading the forum for the last couple days...just picked up the car last night from the delearship.
So..I still have a few questions I guess...I noticed my factory xenon lights aren't as bright as say compared to a 2001 one...was thinking the headlights were not aligned or something (will check tonight) or could it be that the bulbs are old or something (it being a '97)...can anyone tell me?Thanks...
And of course, looking to purchase the painted side reflectors from evosport.com already...really nice stuff.
I will take some pics of the car once I wash it thoroughly and put like 3 coats of wax on it
But for now, here's my other baby:

So..anyone has an idea about the HID lights as to why they are not as bright as a 2000 model one?
