Hi, Everyone I just want to say that I am a newbie and that I am Thank full for finding this site. I Can see how you guys help eachother out.

Here is my question I bought this car about 3 months ago and every since I had the car I notice something like a humming or a GRRRRRR noice when the car is on a standstill position on drive. If I switch the transmition to neutral it goes away. When I accelerate the "Grrrrrrrrrr noice" is there until I reach about 30 to 40 miles. Now dont get me wrong It is not that noticiable but I can hear and feel it . It doesnt seem to be the transmition. It is definetley comming from the back of the car I mean maybe the rear differential.

I was wondering if this is normal to this car or Is there something wrong waiting to happen like the rear differential or maybe one of the muffler pipes is loose or something else.

Any Advice ????

The car has only 42K miles and has the sport package it is in great shape.

Engine mounts or/and Manifold caskit being loose or worn. Take it to a mechanic

I have the same problem. I wonder what the bill would be to fix engine mounts?

Probably both of your hydraulic engine mounts. I just had mine replaced under warranty and it got rid of the vibration, hum, etc....
