AutoWeek...
Chrysler Concorde, 300M, Dodge Intrepid
The rear-drive replacements for the Concorde, 300M and the Intrepid debut in the 2004 model year, under the code-name LX.
The cars will share traction control and electronic stability programs as well as axles, wire harnesses and other major components with the redesigned Mercedes-Benz E class. Even the automatic transmission will be shared. But the pricier E class will have a six-speed automatic; the Chrysler and Dodge brands get a five-speed

I don't care :p but I know that my friend once had a Dodge Intrepid...at 100,000miles the head gasket blew. He sold the car and got an AUDI A6.

Well it is nice to see that some american sedans will have a rear wheel drive again, RWD is a dying species on american sedans.
I personally like the 300M, but don't like that mitsubishi engine they were using on the car a few years ago (I hope they've changed that).

MBWorld Fanatic!
I hear Cadillac is retooling to make RWD cars also.
Acura better redo that RL model with RWD. Very few want to spend $45-$50k for FWD?
