Replaced trans. fluid and...
i have a 97 E320 with 70k miles.
has a sealed transmission.
changed the fluid at a dealer, it shifts fine when driving, but when starting cold, its not sure what gear to be in. it changes from 2nd - 1st and vice-a-versa. it only does this sometimes, and when it does it its very quick.
before i had the fluid changed, it never did this.
if the dealer used the regular trans fluid, not the lifetime, would that cause this problem?
