Thinking of selling my beast E430K
Its a 1999 E430 Black on Black has 68K miles factory options include xenons leather heated seats with memory. Car is in great shape i will not say its perfect but nothing major, also i have like $40K invested in the car and that include Kleemann gen.2 supercharger, Evosport pulleys and ignition upgrade Group M air intake, Carlsson muffler, Carlsson Body kit, Carlsson 2/6 2pc wheels the middle of wheels is powder coated black and lip is chrome,Brian Cadena roof and trunk lid wings, Brembo BBK in the front and E55 brakes in the back, H&R springs with Koni shocks, H&R sway bars. Another thought.... Did you consider removing the mods and selling them outright... I wonder how much you could get...
Then you would be left with a more stock car.... maybe better for the average buyer?? just trying to give ya some more options...
Let's say you get offered... $24K... just say. SO the 24 is three less than you want... three now seems like a lot... but not when compared to a few years from now when that $40K is only worth... $25k- $30K. Unless you can take the upgrades off then and sell them.
Again... just offering a different perspective on a tough decision...
painting my car over.
My Vette was $4900 and took all the parts off the car prior to shop work. My paint is good... almost a show piece. I have talked to guys who show cars and I have heard of and seen paint jobs that cost over $10K... The paint looks like glass... ZERO flaws and no excuses...
I suppose you could get a much cheaper paint job... but on your Benz.. that already looks killer.... you will be able to tell from 5ft away...
