Here's another white one...I had to erase some of it for file size reduction. Patrick, this is what yours would look like with the chrome headlight rings.

Patrick, I forgot to ask...are your rims 16" or 17"?

My rims are 16" I would like the 17s in this last picture..or monoblocks...but I would also trade for the stock e420/e430 wheels that are not chrome.

The ones in that picture are the stock 'sport package' 17". Maybe a dealer would be interested in some sort of a swap.

Did you get new side and bumper molding. I noticed yours molding is more white than mine. Most 97's that I have seen have kind of an off white color for the molding. If you replaced it..how much.

Actually no, they're original. Yours stood out to me because they were a different color.

Go figure.

HCOE:

In your first photo, look at the skinny white strip of trim between the license plate and the star badge on the trunklid. Imagine a chrome one instead of a white one.
What do you think?

(Since I have a white one also)

it might look good, the piece you're talking about is made of plastic, too bad it's not metal or it would be easy to take off and have chrome plated. I don't know how easy it would be to find somone to chrome plate plastic.

No, this one is chromed steel, according to the description. I'll let you know when it arrives.

I may not like the look and I'll have to sell it.

pretty much just soap and water. They are not that hard to clean. I try to clean them once or twice a week...not really any magic to it.
