I am going to buy new tail light assembly for my 98 E320. Where can I get new ones for a good price? Does the new assembly come with new sockets and bulbs? Is VLO the maker of original MB part or is it aftermarket brand?

I keep getting the Lamp Failure message. I've changed 2 bulbs and sockets for the lights that don't lite up but the message still shows up. My dealer sells $230 for a pair. I want new parts as it's prone to failure.

i'm rushing for work but if you could use MB issue for 99 E320, you can
have mine for $50 plus shipping. i replaced mine with E55 tails. photos for
you if you want.

Thanks but I'd rather get a new one. These tail light are very flinnicky and I just don't want to deal with the lamp failure message anymore.

Just put mine on after having them in a box for almost forever. These are the ones I got. They are aftermarket...

They look good,and once and for all,I don't have to deal with the 'LampDefective' message on my dash,but wouldn't you know it, I think I might need a head gasket!!!! Damn,just when I started to put some money away

230 sounds high for a pair. last time I checked, mb of georgetown tx, quoted me 85 per side for the rear taillight assembly, iirc.

did U have to dremmel off parts of the inner side....that is if your ride is pre-2000
