What kind of life have you got out of the originals? Mine are original and still seem fine. My Mercedes Indy claims the originals last very long and didnt suggest I replace at this point

What do you recommend for my 99 E55 stock. I mean, I will like to lower it next Spring. Which shocks should I get now, and what set up would you recommend for the FULL drop next Spring?

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Just wait
until spring and do both drop and shocks at the same time.Eibachs pro kit and bilstein sports.You will need to play with pad numbers.And you will need to budget for camber eccentrics and rear links or bushings,If the e55 sway bar does not compensate enough to keep the camber in specs.You will only find out after you lower it and get it on the machine.
