is it just my imagination

I had a chance to try out my friend e420 98 the other day. how comes if feels like to me that the pull is less than the e320 of the same year.
maybe the only difference is when at speeds of greater than 70mph. what do u guys think

or could it be that his car was not properly maintained. that is my possible explanation for the difference.

haha..is it because the V6 in the E320 is much more "lively" and "light" than the V8?
