Hi Everyone,
I will be a new owner of a 2002 E430 4matic soon. Can anyone tell me if it true that the CD changer is optional on this car? My dealer told me either a 6 disc changer or nothing...

I too have a 2002 E430 4-Matic (I hope you like it...!), and the 6-disc changer does not standardly come with the car. I've had my car since May and unfortunately it's gone through 3 changers, but I'm hoping it was just a bad production run and this most recent one, installed yesterday, will continue to work. I'm running the 18" AMG staggered wheels, and the guy in charge of the installation said I might have some skipping problems due to the low-profile tires and playing CD-Rs.
