Unhappy mass air flow sensor

I have a 1997 E320 and I'm having problems,changed the cam sensor because the injectors were not been enrgized and is doing the same thing not getting gas,can it be the mass air flow sensor and if so how can I check it

You need a trouble code pulled. If you are local to NJ, I can do this for you. If not, go to Autozone and have them do it, then report your findings.

I borrowed a reader from murray's auto and checked it , no codes
