That's not really fair. Should have gone to a proper Merc dealer miles earlier. Can hardly blame Merc for someone driving round with a fan belt missing. Sometimes using the proper guys to check problems and solve them is not just the best, but also the cheapest way. Could have done really expensive damage. Anyway, good luck fro now on.

While i see your point,Hawk,i disagree. Case in point:I went to the dealer to get the imfamous 'lamp defective' scenario fixed ,while he didn't fix it,he charged me too much money to just look at it.I then bought an all new tail light housing and, went to a shop not associated with mercedes that was able to solve my problem. At a fraction of the price. Any car that you have to go thru a third party to fix is a funny acting car in my book
