Year: 1998
Model: E320
Mileage: 178,000
Country: USA - Silicon Valley, CA
Problems: bronzed/darkened driver side mirror, third brake light stopped working
Obsidian black with tan interior.
Acquired just last month and we've already put over 1,000 miles on it. Runs smoothly and quietly. Getting between 23 and 27 mpg combined, so that would be about 20-22 city and 28-31 highway.

I'd seen that on eBay but was wondering how it worked in the real world. Thanks for providing your feedback on it! Did you remove the old mirror or just glue this onto the old one?

Pretty much problem free mechanically. Change oil every 2500 miles. Have after market wheels/tires, headlights, stereo
I do have a problem with
- the sunroof not functioning at the moment.
- The heating/AC system not blowing air at all..or very very weak

Update...
At 102,xxx now and haven't had any real issues. Just ordered front brakes/SS lines and have gotten caught up on maintenance since then (car had no records with it). Also dropped it since then and love how it handles.
It also needs front tires very soon, but they have to wait a month or so. It's my fault though since my left front wheel leaks at the valve stem (will get it taken care of when I get new tires) and I didn't do too good at keeping it filled. After blowing almost $700 on brakes I'm in no hurry to drop another $500 for 2 tires. These fronts only lasted about 7,000 miles and I think I should get 15,000 or so out of the rears. They are getting a bit chewed up on the inside since the rear sits so low. I've got adjustable arms but haven't gotten around to getting them installed.
