Model E240 Elegance
Milage: 213378km = 133361miles
Johannesburg, South Africa
Problems: Re-conditioned gearbox, front disks and pads, repaired right-rear window winder mechanism after being broken at garage, "Macguiver-ed" right rear wheel hub, replaced battery, replaced belt tensioner at 200k km, generally get 11km/litre, best range to date was 1118km on tank of fuel (4 up, air-con running all the time, speed cruise set at 130km/h)
Regularly use "Injector Cleaner" fuel additive, approx every third tank fill-up, spend a fair amount of time in stop-start traffic, travel 50+km daily.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

I got it at 130,000 miles and its still running strong. This motor is so reliable, Im putting a turbo in it real soon or i just might upgrade to a cl55 cause I love power.

Model: E420 ( Its from Mexico they sold the e420 until 1998 there )
Miles: 37,553 or 60,435 KM
Very low miles due to my parents moving from Mexico to Canada and the car was left alone with very little movement since they kept their house in Mexico. They gifted this car to me since they were about to get rid of it, it now sits in my garage here in San Antonio, TX and i'm trying to get it into show room condition.

1997 E420 199312 miles
1997 E420 199312 miles purchased in 2001 w/75000 original. The list is to long to post here. Right now I'm trying to determine if the fuel pump is bad. This is a daily driver.

Few weeks ago I had a serious issue with my 1998 E320 , the car would not go above 20MPH flooring the gas paddle. I scan the computer codes and founf out the driver side bank (2, 4 and 6 ) cyl are mis-fire , forwarded my problem to OHLORD and he was able to slim it down in no time,, (CHECK THE CAT,) which was the issue , CAT was replaced with after market generic brand for under $300, and the car is like new again, between the price of the cat and the local muffler shop cost ($70) the price was shocking vs/ the dealer,
Just to share with everyone, if you ever have a problem ,, ASK FIRST, that might save you hunderds if not thousands of dollars.
Good day everyone

richard E320 always wins lowest mileage so the rest of us should just go home. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I have 99 E320 and hovering on 63k. I usually drive the old truck around the
gray/moist environment here in Seattle. Benz comes out when the sun does.

2001 E320
I average about 750 miles per year; a little more some years when we have drier winters, a little less when we get a lot of rain. My Benz will be eleven years old next month, and still has never been driven in the rain (or wet-foggy days), though I can say that I've had to hoof it to and from work a few times due to rain on a work day, and had some close calls, like today.

I have just turned 90K in my 2000 E430 Sport. Still loving every single mile, however it is time for a 2011 E63 AMG as a stable mate.

I just turned over to 130,000 on my 2001 e320 and shes running as strong as ever. I just put it up for sale and had someone tell me that it's way to high of miles to be turning down a 5000 dollar offer.

before hitting 100K I was doing all I could to keep it from hitting that mark. Now that I'm over 100k, I want to add them up as quickly as possible

Just turned 130,000 miles on my E320. Bought it from the original owner 6 years ago with 58,000 miles.
Since I've owned it the only repairs have been:
Window Regulator (DIY $30)
Passenger Seat Occupant Sensor ($200)
Various bulbs ($40)
Snapped Lug Nut ($200)
Broken Fog Light from road hazzard ($24 from eBay)
Maintenance:
7 or 8 Oil Changes (DIY)
Front Brake pads twice
Front Rotors once (just this month)
Rear Brake pads once
Transmission Fluid and Electrical Connector (leaking)
Spark plugs at 100k miles (DIY)
Tires twice
Battery once
Car still looks and drives like new. Best used car I ever bought. Currently I've let my daughter take the E320 because she's working nights and her Jeep has become too unreliable. I'm missing it.

2014 E350 4matic, 2015 Acura TLX
'97 E320, 84,500 miles. It had about 62K when I acquired it 3 years ago. Repairs/replacements to date include, left fog light, drivers mirror glass, tires and the little fan in the overhead console. Now needs new switches for power seats, and LR window motor but is mechanically sound and returning an average of 25mpg in mixed driving. Also, since it was a southern car, it has no rust and still looks beautiful!

I have over 110,000 miles with no problems. Averaging 38 mpg highway. I would rather have a diesel over a hybrid any day! Power and fuel economy are wonderful. I don't like the hybrids because they feel like driving I'm driving around a tin can - too thin and light.
I highly recommend this car!
