2003 ML320 with 165000. i am the second owner and when i took it to MB, they ran the VIN and it has never had a single service bulletin, nor any warrenty work. it is 165000 miles of 100% originality. I had to replace the steering reservoir, and a transmission connector oring was leaking. can someone guide me to info if people are replaceing their fan clutch assembly with electric fans. i know the benefits of doing this but i wanna know if others are doing this to their ML.

How many miles on your E class?
Year: 2003
Model: E 320 sedan
Mileage: 84,000
Country: Wisconsin, US
Comments: Solid, beautiful, new boots, oil change every 5K, a pleasure to drive, polish and own after two years of ownership. Undercarriage virtually rust free, exterior and interior immaculate. Schedule D maintenance in 6K miles. Unlike my girlfriend, talks less, says more. J.

175,000 miles and going strong... bought it at around 150,000.. but only because I heard how strong these cars are. Owned a honda before this and at 160,000 miles the thing was falling to pieces.
My only complaint is rust lol havent really had any serious problems... transmission plug was leaking and wicked up into the wiring harness... needed a new k-40 relay.. but other than that nothing has really stopped this car!

E430
Have had my 1999 E430 for 12 years. Just went over 207,000. Still in great shape. Ran it by CarMax to see what they'd offer. $1200. Still drives like it's itching to get out on the autobahn.

This one I was fortunate to find recently with only 120,000 miles and in perfect condition (considering all the years (if not miles)).
I am so happy and I was so very fortunate because I knew it was our last chance to get another reliable tank that we could honestly drive for 10 more years plus. So, it is now my wife's "new" benz and she could not be happier.
Have 1992 300E with 253,000 and 1992 400E with 150,000. Not sure what I am going to do with these two. Rust is a problem on the 300E (can't do anything about that) and needs glasswork (windshield), fan motor (interior heat and air), axle, and brakes and rotors, but the motor ran like a charm the last day I drove it. The 4-matic quit working many years ago and it was still the smoothest most reliable car driving into the last days until I parked it.
The 400 is in good shape body wise, but needs a radiator, fan and clutch for the fan, among some other minor tune-ups. I would gladly drive this car another 100,000 miles...myself.
