help w/ cd changer mounting bracket

I got on eBay an MC3010 taken form a '00 CLK, WITH the bracket and it worked perfectly on my 01 W210 (left side of the trunk).
I also saw on eBay a W210 bracket only for like $35.

I also got the MC3010 changer with a CLK bracket and while it does work, the bracket is not an exact fit on a 210. I had to drill 2 mounting holes to match the bracket (wouldn't match up with pre-drilled holes) and bracket tabs had to be bent downward to fit over the wheel well lip. The optic connections seemed to be a bit awkward too but I may have brought them thru the trunk liner in the wrong spot.
