I'd like to know how to change the cabin air filter too, but I can tell you this: The dealer replaced mine at 120,000 during a routine "B" service. I don't know if this is an every 20k thing, or if they just saw that it was dirty. I bought mine with 117k and have a pretty sketchly service history on it, so I know very little else.
There are a lot of DIY (do it yourselfers) on this forum, so I'll bet you'll eventually get a good answer.
Hope this is of some value,
M
The primary cabin air filters are located behind the glove compartment. You must remove the necessary screws and give the box a good yank to get it out. The filters are behind a small door that you'll see once the glove box is out.
The activated charcoal filter is under the dash, also on the passenger side.

I just took my car in today for the 90k mile service. Changing the plugs myself a few weeks before saved me 300 bucks. Defenitely worth it. I dont know about the cabin filter, I know its under the glove box because the mechanic left a few grease smudges under there.
