haha...I was thinking the same. Except it is chrome plate, it is going to be hard to paint it.

I don't have stereo control on the steering wheel, but Blaupunk has exact schematic as my OEM radio, including the Auto Speed sensor Volume control, and Phone mute function. (it is direct plug and play)
You could try to order one from Crutchfield, and if you don't like it, they even pay the return shipping.
