Please post photo of your AFTER-MARKET Radio.

I want a radio that play mp3. (I am really sick and tired of going to my trunk just to change a CD)

HOWEVER, I really like to see which model provide more "OEM" looks.

thanks~

Sony Xplod, I think its called MDX-F5800. Mine does play MP3 discs although I can't see that feature listed on the Sony Xplod site. If you wish to connect your Ipod or other MP3 players, suggest picking up a Sony XA-300 Aux adaptor which gives you up to 3 auxiliary inputs. You might be able to get a good deal on it since it is almost 2 years old already. Of course, there are newer models, some are even Ipod ready with full head unit control but it would be more expensive.

thanks for reply. I can't find it anywhere...
the newer sony model doesn't look that clean at all
They seems too fancy and "busy"

( I can't even differentiate mono vs stereo, so...as long as it play mp3 cd, then I will be happy)

I dont have a pic of mine but I have a clarion with the music catcher. It plays mp3 cd's and has like 75 different colors you can mess with. I liked this one cause you can adjust it to match you interior light colors at night perfect.

Finally, for ONLY $129 (including free antenna adapter, radio remove key, free shipping) this is my pride and joy, direct plug and play (no hard wire, not splitting and less than 10 min to install!!!! )

Very conservative and very OEM looking~~~~~~~
(did I mention ability to change 4000+ color adjustment and 9 level of brightness? Perfect match to all the light around )

Godfather, is there anything stock in your car? blaha...
I wonder all stuff you upgrade in your car might cost more than a brand new car????

Brunelleschi, were you able to get wood panel to cover that area?

you mean that little cubbie hole? At the time I left the cubbie hole open to put my cell phone. Since then I decided it wasn't worth it so I moved the deck down a slot and the hole is covered. If you are asking about the plastic surround, I haven't bothered covering it with wood.

Mine is a 98. But I upgraded to 2000 stereo. Custom an aux port (for iPod & voice recorder), add satellite radio, tv, camera, GPS, some other craps

Thanks, some like it some dont. Single blue superbright LEDs for footwells and row of blue LEDs for door pockets...might change to another color when I get bored of them

no_clue: the switches on the new one kinda looks like the ones on the newer MB units...nice. However, if you could lose the large bone shaped chrome frame, it'll be nicer
