Are the foglight connectors the same on the AMG and non AMG foglights?

Say someone was to get an AMG kit w/ AMG foglights, would they be straight plug and play on a non AMG (ie E320)?

Just checking

Rbrenton, I think he's talking about the connectors, not the lights themselves.............

For a pre-facelift it is definitely a straight plug in (had to do it with mine), not sure about the facelifted one.

However, I have been involved in retrofitting many W203 C's and R171 SLK's with AMG kits (both the real SLK55 bumper and the AMG aftermarket one) and none had any issues with fog plugs. In some cases the bulb type is different with the AMG foglights but the plugs remained the same, so I guess you can safely assume it is a straight plug and play.

The AMG fog lights use a DIFFERENT connector....When doing a swap to AMG fogs AMG makes a Nice wire harness adapter (FACTORY) I Had to do this when I Installed AMG E55 Bumpers / Fogs on my 2000 W210 Estate

Hmm, interesting, maybe my guys just tied them together without asking me.(???)..

Now that you mention it, I remember seeing, for the SLK55 and C32 bumpers, some kind of fog harness that came with the kit..maybe that adaptor comes as part of the new AMG kits.
