Headlight Bulbs!!!!
i'm running with the stock halogen head light and bulbs. i was thinking about going with the depo projector headlights, but from what i've read... light output sucks..... so was wondering about stock h7 bulbs. which are the best, silverstar, or piaas? i'd like either a blue or extreme white light.... any help appreciated!

I have had both PIAA extreme whites and Silverstars. The PIAAs were a little more blue than the Silverstars but the light output seems very close. Since the Silverstars are much cheaper and easier to find, I replaced the PIAAs with Silverstars when one of the PIAAs burned out.

The OSRAM (not Sylvania) Silverstars are very good. I've had them in 4 cars. I suspect they're rated at 500 hours and frankly that's a bit too short for my liking so I've reverted to a standard bulb. Sometimes I can find the Hella LongLife bulbs. They are very good and show a minor improvement over a stock bulb.
