2002 E320 Price?
Ready to pull the trigger on the purchase of a 2002 E320 demonstrator from reputable dealer. Vehicle has approx. 6900 miles, E1, E2 packages & Heated Seats. They're asking approx. $44,000. Price seems almost too good to be true. Any opinions?

To help make your choice: New are selling for just under $48K. Keep in mind, your warranty is shortened not only by 6900 miles but also however long the car has been in service.
If you don't mind buying a demo (demo=used), then take it.

these cars have been heavily discounted this year of course, but i believe they may have moved enough of them to keep the prices from dropping any further. probably now is a good time to pull the trigger if you feel prices are fair. fyi-i just bought 2002 e430 4matic with similar options and mileage at 10k under msrp. i do not think however , that there are many cars for sale that far below sticker , esp 4matics now . for a good read of prices , try carsdirect.com and plug in your model and options , its a neat way to see how cars trade relative to sticker and invoice. good luck!

Dealer invoice on the car is $48,891. Are dealers selling at invoice and taking the 3% holdback as their profit on these cars? If so, then the true discount to me is roughly $5K. The car has never been titled, and I was told that the warranty would still be for the full 4 years, but covers only the remaining 43K miles.

Ended up purchasing the car a little over a week ago. Got them down to $43,140...with them picking up the doc fee and luxury tax. A great deal? Questionable...but certainly not a bad one. The warranty length of time is really not as much of an issue as the miles in my situation. I'll get it to 50K before 4 years. Car is great so far, no problems except for a broken cup holder that they fixed right away.
