Smoked/Red LED similar to ArcticWhite...

After so much searching and patience, I was able to find a supplier all the way in HK. I am going to order a set (Model BZ076-BEDE4 maybe?) from him and I will let you all know how it goes! Apparently they have a model for US, EU, and they have regular back-up bulb and LED models.

They sell this stuff all over here..and I've never heard of "US" vs "Europe"..lol How much is the guy selling it for?

I asked him and I am going to find out...I figure if it's around $250 or so, that is cool. How much are you finding them for?

A little bit less, I think around USD200 the last time I'd checked but if that price includes shipping then its cool but I wasn't impressed with the quality when I saw them (the one's I saw were from Eagle Eye, same as Artic White) - not sure what these are. Make very certain you know what USA Type means...sounds really weird.

He's a seller on eBay. I saw that he had some W163 LED tail lights, and I figured, "what the heck? let me ask, just out of curiosity." And he told me that he can order a set for me...Just look up "W163 LED" on eBay. You'll see him.

Nope, I just asked him the question, and he sent me that picture and said, "Choose the one you want to order and we will order it."

WTF Hube? You're not selling now?

Guys, I'm happy to help you get them IF you get stuck with the vendor mentioned here but since I'm not in the business of selling and shipping, it'll probably be easier for me if you get yourselves a group order (preferably to be sent to one location and one of you sort the rest out locally). Judging from the price I was quoted, I should be able to match, if not save a little on the ebay seller's price. Payments might also be a problem since I don't have paypal (never been a fan of Ebay ). I guess another advantage of me getting them is I should be able to pick up some ready stocks (provided what you want is the standard advantgarde/AMG style Eagle Eye LEDs i.e. tinted/red combination, which are the only ones I'd seen) and send them to you right away...should get to the someone's doorstep in the US within a week of me going to the shops.

well, I'm heading to the shops soon so I can see what the deal is on those tails nowadays. Side note: I farked up my headlights, so will take a second look at the projectors (eventho I didnt like their quality and don't wish to modify them like many guys here have done) since it should be cheaper than getting a replacement light.....

From memory CurYousGee, the W210 lights won't fit the W208, but if you can see them selling the LEDs on ebay, then they will for sure sell them over here (sorry, never really explored those).

I have a pair from Eagle Eyes on my car. The fitment is fine, meaning it will seat perfectly where it's intended to fit but once in there you will notice 2 tiny flaws.

1. The side is about a 1/4 inch short of running flush with the body.
2. Look close into the gap at the top side of the taillight, see it? The gap isn't terrible but it's big enough to see the light gray plastic of the light housing.

Sorry don't have anymore pictures at this point, but trust me you won't notice these things unless you're within 2-3 feet of the car.

Overall: I like them and the flaws aren't enough to bother me. I would probably take the time to black out the gray plastic when I get a chance.

I have a couple questions:

1. Could you take a couple more pics, preferably with the LEDs on and the brakes applied?

2. How is the brightness of the LED compared to OEM?

Look in the W210 Pictures thread Arcticwhite posted some pictures of his car with those Wave type LED Tails. They are very close to the OEM Light Output

You can fix those problems by shaving down the tail lamp a little, I had similar fitment problems in my LED Tails and ended up shaving the trunklid lights down a little now they sit flush with the trunklid.

No offence but if you are not a sponsor, please do not sell your stuff here. Sponsors pay good money to give themselves this priviledge
