hello all, i am new to the forums, have been reading it alot though,
i have a 2002 E430 with 32000 miles, can i extend the mercedes warranty till 100k or thats just an aftermarket warranty, my current warranty expiers mar 2007 (the car was not sold till mar 2003)

Yes you are able to. At any time during the original 4-year, 50,000 mile factory warranty, you can extend it for (I think) up to 3 more years and up to 100,000 miles. The only kicker is, that the further you are into your original warranty, the more expensive it is - in other words, it is pro-rated.
I am referring to a Starmark, as sbarsap was. I would also not advise buying any after-market warranty, as the MB one seems to provide us with excellent coverage "insurance". The finance guy told me when I bought mine on a CPO, that the extended warranty is actually better than the 4yr/50,000 that comes with a new car purchase.
