Ok here's a kicker problem. Radio/Nav mafunction

Ok this has been happening intermittently. My left ch goes out, I try the balance, fader etc it does not come back even with full volume. I turn off the radio still nothing. I turn off the car and start it without turning off the radio it comes back. WTF?

Its a stock navigation system, it is really strange that all the left side just goes out intermittently.

Any ideas? Any replies greatly appreciated.

loose wire probably, pull out the head unit and make sure all the connections in back are fastened properly. Also try resetting your head unit.

A loose wire sounds like a plausible explanation to me as well - good luck!
