Buying Smartkey by mail?
So in my head, i'm thinking that if we used credit card, provided VIN, had a copy
of DL or registration and provided that to the out-of-state dealer, why wouldn't
they sell? Anyone ever try? $250 from one dealer...vs $150 from another
seems quite a spread.

I agree with the remote... It's cool for it's time.... Better than no remote locking capability :-)

I have 2 now and both work (seemingly original, at least look identical) so I don't really need one. But, I like the looks of the newest ones with the metal strips on the sides. What do these mail-order ones look like please?
