does anyone know what to do know
thanks
yeah, that can be a bugger to remove. here's why: though all the screws are
removed, there are two fins atop the glove box which prevent it from easily
sliding out. if you tug hard enough, it will. if you just wail back and pull
with abandon, you risk damaging the little piston thingy attached to the right
side of glove box which helps the door open slowly. the chain which attaches
the door to the piston is a plastic lattice thing. (love my knack of tech terms?)

can't help you much with the first yank except to use what I tell my brother,
the PHD method "Pull Hard, Dummy". LOL.
if you hook your fingers beneath the door, you get leverage. but that also
has a way of leveraging the glove box upwards...and camming the aforemen-
tioned 'fins' even firmer. so try to pull straight towards your belly button, not
angled up.
once you get the glove box out (which you will), take a file or Dremel to the
fins. lightly. whereas the angle is normally cut at approx 70º or so, change
it to 45º. from now on, removing the glove box will be a breeze.

seem to recall that only 4 screws hold the box in: two on the sides and two
on the box floor. the latch doesn't, nor do the rubber biscuit door bumpers.
