Ok, lay off TommyGun. I'll say this...I know my battery is located under the rear, right-hand seat (since it crapped out while I was at the dealer), but I would be hard-pressed to find the remote terminals under the hood, in the dark, if I had to. There, I said it. Flame away!

Doesn't everyone carry a flashlight in their car?

I kinda thought a flashlight and auto fire extinguisher are like default things you should carry in your car

No, I don't carry either one in any of my vehicles (or jumper cables) but I agree that these are a good idea to have handy.

The only "spare parts" I have in the MB are an extra set of batteries for the smart key in the center console, and a liter of oil in the trunk.
