wheel size info!!!!

guys...i need some assistance here.

i wanna fit some 20's to my E36 AMG.
what size tyres r best recommended.
the fronts would be 8.5j and rears 9.5j
also, i fitted a set of 20" lowenhart ldr's the other day...in chrome... too blingy for me. they were in 35 offset 8.5j all round with 245/35/20. the fronts needed to be spaced out about 6mm to clear the control arm but it rubbed everytime i made a full turn or hit a slight bump. the rears cleared fine.
also, i noticed that the front sits higher than the rear. is there any way of curing this problem bearing in mind that it is an AMG?
what can i do to lower the front a little more?
please help!!!!!!!!!!!!
it was easier to fit the 19's on my w202.....less hassles and that car sits beeeyooootifully.

if your car is similarly set up as mine, above the spring is rubber spring pad. these
come in varying thicknesses from 5mm to 24mm or so. it's pretty common to
have the front sprung higher than rear - the engine is up front.

am not familiar with the specs needed for your car, but it sounds as though
you're on the right track. try to find rims with proper specs so that you wont
have to go to the spacer fix.

sounds like lower offset would bring the rim out and clear the parts...though it
would start to encroach on fender clearance.

i've opted for 255/35/20 at the rear on a 9.5j brabus
its a 40 offset but clears nicely at the rear.
the fronts have to be spaced cos the standard offset for the w210 is actually 31. but it suits me fine cos the fronts, being 8.5 j were sitting narrow.

now with the 15mm spacer, things r looking fine and dandy.

just another question please...if i may... has anyone removed the inner plastic fender trims, so as to accomodate bigger wheels or for more aggressive lowering? does it help? need to know that urgently...

raymond... can u give me more info on the spring pads u spoke of? where can i locate it on the car? and where can i acquire different size pads?

thanks guys....i'll post some pics soon.
