it takes about 2 seconds...open the hood, then turn the bottom of the emblem with a pair or pliers and it will come out from the top. Make sure you hold the emblem on the top side of the hood while turning, otherwise it will probably fall.

Thanks Peter.
That was easy!
Do you sell any other 1.75" hood badges? Your badge looks sweet. Any other designs too?

I inquired at the MB dealer about a flat badge, and they told me the original one can't be reused once removed. Seems odd from looking at the assembly from underneath. Also, the flat badges are larger (diameter) than the stock ones. The dealer told me you have to use double-sided tape to attach it. I'm sorry, but MB's and double-sided tape don't mix. Can someone guide me on the install for a flat badge?

I'm sure there is white tape somewhere in the HD store, but I wouldn't do it. It would look like some yo-yo put tape all over his grill if I did it.

I haven't changed anything on the outside, except for the chrome headlight rings.

Lee,

I was wondering what the "label" on that E class you have pictured says. (the one behind the whell on the quarter panel)

I bouth my first Mercedes here in the UAE and my options were: Elegance, Classic and Avantgarde. Do they make that distintion in the US? and what are the differences between them? Any help would be appreciated.

Like the black grill. What Kind of rims are those?

Thanks.
