Angry 1996 E320 super problem

I a 1996 E320,the car will NOT rev more than 2400 rpm, if you are park or driven.Example: you are in the stop light and you have to go fast ,the car will star jerking at 2300 to 2400 rpm,but if you take off slowly it will go normal.as long you dont hit the gas to the floor the car will run ok.My mechanic check all this : No code in the comp,MAF,Flywheel, crank sensor, coils,Timing chain,Timing,Throtle assy replace already,New wire harn.., the mechanic dont know what is the problem??????????? what a junk. Any help PLEASE any. Thanks

I agree with the MAF issue as well. Better yet why not pop the hood while the engine is running and pull on the throttle body cable. If it cuts off waay too early then you might have airflow issues.

BTW does anyone know where's the fuel pressure valve on the M104 engines? If so then you can check wether enough fuel is running through the liners.

my 97 e320 did the exact same thing. It was the computer. $1200.00 for the computer and 1 hour to install.

sounds like

your sparks are not firing right, or it could be your intake system. the engine is being choked., or u know what it may be the transmission.

from the sounds of it, might be a fuel filter.
example:
when u take off slow not alot of fuel needs to be sucked through the filter, when u hit the gas ur choking the engine cause it cant get enough fuel from being clogged. id try this cheap maintance job before a computer. if its a computer im sorry to hear. try and find a used one. good luck...
