'01 E430 still running running terrible, anymore ideas??
The car is still idling so rough its gonna shake my fillings out, and it has a small miss at throttle. I changed the plugs two weeks ago, didn't resolve anything. The mass air was changed maybe 5 months ago. What else can i check??
ON a side note, just the other day driving down the highway 4 lights came on.
ABS Failure, traction control, and brake assist. Got home and shut car off, then lights were all off upon next start. Did it once more after that, but thats it.

2001 Mercedes Benz E430
2001 Mercedes Benz E430 rough idling - please help
Hello everybody, how are you? I Just got a new car couple weeks ago, its an 01 E430, no 4matic. has 100,000 miles. I noticed the other day that it idles rough in Drive and Reverse, it doesnt idle rough in park and Neutral, but sometimes it does idle a little rough in park and i mean really a little, barely noticeable, you can barely feel the vibration. I took it to the Benz dealer and they told me i had a missfire in one of the cylinders, or a bad coil pack or bad motor mounts and i was asked to leave the car there to have it diagnosed, which costs money, of course i said no, and took the car to my trusted local mechanic Pete. He checked it out and said it is just the motor mounts, he said it was two of them left and a right one. Told me he'd fix it for 100 bucks if i provide the parts. parts are 64$ each and they are OEM parts. Also another problem with the car is that i cant change the temperature in the car, i can controll the fan flow but the temperature is stuck at 72 degrees, and the front windshield defroster doesnt work. Any tips would be helpfull, this is my first mercedes and i love it, its old 2001 but still drives so smooth and nice. and PSP pump is bad, just throwing it out there maybe its because of that i do not know. Thanks in advance to everyone who will help.
