Strange W210 i6 E320
Relating to the Kill Story, to all the non believers of how this car moves. The car belongs to TommyGunn, and no mods Im not him, I know Tom in person and I am posting on his behalf while he is banned till January or so?

Here's the video of the 0-100mph, at 4am in the morning its still processing but by the time most will see this the video will be running. Thats a decent launch.

That might be a MY1996 E-class. The instrument cluster certainly is the pre-2000 version.
Since the tail lights can be changed out to the MY2000+ look, the exterior can get updated. The same with the black color rocker panels that in later versions were body color.
The first year of the W210 had the older engines, the 3.2 I6 (M104?) and the 4.2 V8 (M119). These did have the 722.6 5 speed automatic.
The subsequent model years got the new modular V6 and V8 engines. It was strange for MB to introduce a new body style only to have to re-certify an entirely different family of engines right after the first year of production.

Also, NO ONE in their right mind is going to belive this, but I killed a Acura TL, and ran dead even with a STi. It was from a 60-75 roll. I dident have time to take my eyes off the road. I might have the fastest w210, but its still a pig in the turns. Anyway me and this STi ran dead even from 60ish-120. Guys I don't know. My car has more power, and it kickes you in to the seat harder at 110, then it does at 80. I don't know what the hell has been done to this car, but I love it.

I do understand what your saying, but the 3.2L I6 was droped in 1998. It was around for 2 years. It also has the M104 motor. Can anyone tell me why my car is that fast. I always thought it was soposta be that fast, untill i started racking up kills.

secondly, u said u had a 5 speed, thats all fine and dandy, but what the vid shows to me atleast is an auto trans... thats all i pointed out... now calm down.

Consider who your dealing with. Remember this is the guy who wanted to drop the 0 and make an AMG e32.

Because Im a genuine witness, I don't know what TommyGunn has ever claimed. But I took the photos + pictures + wrote up the story in the kill section. I know Tom and his E for about 3 weeks now, and let me tell you there is nothing but something weird with this car. Im posting constructive posts, talk **** elsewhere.
The car has a four speed tranny. He often says he WANTS a 5 speed swap. The car has a Euro Radio, Aftermarket lights front + rear and the Gruppe M intake. That is it.

In 1996, the E320 (first year of the W210), C280 & C36 had an I-6 with the old 4spd auto.
In 1997, the E320, C280 & C36 got the new 5spd auto. That powertrain combo was rare because they switched to V6's in '98.
I owned a '97 C280 years ago and it was a great car. I loved it. I have test driven '96 & '97 C280s and the cars behaved very different just because of the transmission. The '97s were a lot of fun to drive. Those I-6 engines loved to rev and the 5spd auto's was the perfect match.
The I-6 engines were really choked by the 4spd autos. They were programmed to shift early, resisted downshifting unless the kickdown was hit, & started off in 2nd gear.

what are an as*hole, im not talking sh*t... why dont both of u kiddies go elsewhere... u obviously dont know how to talk like an adult and have an intelligent conversation. all i said was he said he had a RARE 5 speed manual tranny in the car, MAYBE i read wrong but i highly doubt it, now u say its a 4 speed manual tranny, all i was saying it looked and sounded like an auto... why dont u post pics of the interior to strighten out all the bull*hit. neither of u have grammer of a 3rd grader so to understand what the f*ck u kids are talking about gets confusing. u change ur storys daily. i had nothing againt TG and thought what he was doing was fine. i was being nice in all his posts. then u both come here and talk smack. this is a forum, no one cares...and all this talk about beating STi's... ur racing an RS with an STi bagde, kinda like what TG wanted to do to his E320...(E32 AMG)

Last night we were replacing the fog lights in my friends C43 and we were comparing headers from the E320 to the C43 and remarkably the C43 headers are SMALLER skinnier headers than the E. I took a picture of the headers only to find out that there is some sort of name imprinted on them
"Leistritz" is imprinted on the headers along with the mercedes logo.
Any other E320 owners have the same sized headers/ imprint on headers?
