I've got a can of air intake cleaner which I'm pretty hesitant on using.

BTW just wanted to make sure on this but if your car wont start on the first turn does it mean there isn't enough fuel going through?? Jus wondering coz it took me 3 cranks to start it up

Just got called by the shop. They told me that it was the MAF sensor. Haha, i'm just going to buy the insert for $100 and install it myself. They wanted $388 for the part and $120 for installation.

it's off ebay.

Good feedback, and it's an original Bosch Part. I use ebay all of the time, I know what i'm doing :p The problem is that many people who use Ebay have one bad experience, and then have a negative look on ebay for the rest of their time. This is which I'm guessing you might have had?

No , actually my mechanic purchased a bunch of these "inserts" off guy with a ton of positive feedback......only to find the inserts were made in China and packaged in "authentic looking" Bosch packaging and to find out they were knock-offs.Good luck with your purchase and post your results.

okay, bought a OEM MAF sensor insert off ebay for $100. Got it and it worked great! I have the power back and the 0-60 time is now about 6.9 seconds like it should be. Thanks for all of the help
