What is a "suppressor"?
I had a check engine light come on the other day, from a stop I hit the gas, it shuddered, and then the light came on. It was running rough, and had some loss of power - took it to the dealer. They replaced 2 suppressors on number 5.

They recommended I replace all the suppressors. My question is, is a suppressor just the boot over the spark plug wire and the spark plug? I have 73K on this car, and as far as I can remember, the wires, suppressors, and plugs have never been changed. Should I just change them all?

They charged $54 per suppressor...
