how to remove the MAF on 97 E420?

how to remove the MAF on 97 E420?
HI,

Can anyone help me on how to remove the MAF in a 97 E420?

I have located the MAF which is on top of my engine after I remove the cover.

But I am not sure how to remove it. I don't want to break anything so I would really appreciate if anyone that done it can give me a tip on how to do it.

maf
i just replaced recently . very straightforward and itwould save you some money by avoiding the dealer.

find the cable that is connected to maf. pinch it and remove the cable wire. next the maf is held on by three clips. remove those and replace with the new maf. just remember to put in the same direction as previous. then just reverse order to put it back. it should take you less than 10 minutes.
